# Fall Creek Beast

> Halloween-morning trail race in Swan Valley, Idaho — 50K and half marathon. October 31, 2026. 35 minutes from Idaho Falls, 45 from Rexburg, 1 hour from Jackson Hole.

The Fall Creek Beast is Idaho's most affordable late-season trail race, run on Halloween morning out of Swan Valley. The 50K climbs 6,000 ft and starts at 6:00 AM; the half marathon climbs 2,700 ft and starts at 9:00 AM. Costumes encouraged. Free camping at the start/finish.
